Install Gent

Gent will ship as a downloadable desktop app with a licensed command line interface. Developer waitlist access, download links, operating-system setup, and upgrade instructions are coming soon.

What to expect

The installation flow will cover:

• downloading the Gent desktop app
• installing the bundled gent CLI
• activating Gent with a valid license
• confirming the CLI is available from your shell
• upgrading Gent when a new release is available

License activation

License activation instructions are coming soon. Once keys are issued, activation will use the gent config command documented in Configure Gent, and displayed license values will be redacted.
